What is the pass mark for öSD A2?
Two gates on the written module: at least 35 of 70 points overall AND the subtest floors — at least 5 of 25 in Lesen and at least 6 of 30 in Hören. Fewer than 5/6 fails the whole written module whatever the total says. The oral module passes at 10 of 20, and the modules can be sat and repeated independently.
How is öSD A2 different from Goethe or telc A2?
Weights first: Hören (30 points) outweighs Lesen (25) — the opposite of every Goethe paper. Task types second: the 8-keyword tick task with its scoring penalties, the typed Notizblatt, the per-row checklist where an empty correct box counts as wrong, ten A–K headlines with J skipped, and one single ~50-word e-mail as the whole writing exam. And the oral comes with ten minutes of preparation, notes allowed — no other A2 body gives that.
