Articles — the fastest points in Lesen and Schreiben
650 A1 words are too many to memorize one by one. Memorize the PATTERNS instead, plus the exam nouns that break them. In the telc paper, articles decide sign statements in Lesen Teil 3 and form entries in Schreiben Teil 1 — and errors in spelling there are forgiven, wrong facts are not.

02 · Akkusativ
One change, six verbs, all the points
The A1 accusative is tiny: only masculine der-words visibly change (der → den). Everything else looks like the nominative. The telc paper tests it in your Sprechen requests, your Schreiben email, and the everyday sentences that fill Hören.

03 · Wortstellung
Verb position — the rule that fixes every sentence you write
Your 30-word email in Schreiben Teil 2 is graded on three content points plus communicative form — and broken word order kills communicative form faster than any spelling error. Three rules cover nearly every sentence you will write or say.

04 · Perfekt
The spoken past — two helpers, one pattern
One past tense is enough at A1: the Perfekt. haben/sein in position 2, Partizip II at the end. The telc Hören scripts use it in nearly every phone message, and one correct Perfekt sentence in your Schreiben email signals real control of the language.

05 · Höflichkeit & Formeln
Fixed phrases that ARE graded points — plus the telc Antwortbogen habit
In Schreiben Teil 2 the telc rubric gives an explicit point for communicative form: Anrede and Gruß. In Sprechen, the whole oral runs on greeting formulas and request formulas. These are free points — learn them as fixed blocks. And telc's signature: your answers only count on the Antwortbogen, so copy each formula CLEANLY.
