Two full Start Deutsch 1 mocks — identical paper to the Goethe version, run at Volkshochschulen and licensed language schools across Germany, usually at a lower exam fee.

THE PAPER — VERIFIED FORMAT

Start Deutsch 1 was developed jointly by the Goethe-Institut and telc — the Goethe and telc versions are the SAME exam: same sections, same tasks, same points. Only the logo on the certificate differs.

Group exam: introduce yourself (name, age, country, languages), ask and answer simple questions using word cards, and make and respond to requests using picture cards. No preparation time.

Z.B.Picture card „Kaffee, bitte“ → ask the candidate across the table for a coffee; they respond.
