Is this an official Goethe-Institut paper?
No — and it says so plainly. These are Germanium's own Start Deutsch 1 mock papers, original material calibrated to the official format: the same task types, the same timings, the same 100-point split. The official Modelltests are free on the Goethe-Institut site; this kit is the additional rehearsal material built around them.
How many mock papers are in the kit, and what exactly do I get?
Three full Start Deutsch 1 mock papers — Hören, Lesen, Schreiben and Sprechen — each with its own solution book: answer keys with worked reasoning and complete listening transcripts. Plus five grammar cheat sheets on the exact rules the paper grades. Everything is interactive: sit a paper against the clock, submit, and it grades itself against the official point grid.
What score do I need to pass Goethe A1?
60 of 100 points. Goethe A1 has no per-section minimum — a strong Hören can carry a weak Schreiben — but the exam is not modular: the whole paper is sat and passed in one go. The kit's scoring console prints your result against that 60-point line after every mock.
