Refund Policy

Exam kits are refundable within 15 minutes of purchase — no questions asked. How to request one, what qualifies, and when the money is back.

The 15-minute window

Every exam kit purchase is fully refundable within 15 minutes of the payment confirming on-chain — no questions asked, no form to justify yourself. Email [email protected] from the address on the account that bought the kit, name the kit, and the refund is processed. That is the entire procedure.

Why 15 minutes

The kits are digital: the moment a purchase unlocks, the full content — every mock paper, solution book and cheat sheet — is open on the account, and 15 minutes is enough to open and assess every part of what you bought. We think you should be able to look before you commit; a window shorter than that would be a trap, and one much longer would ignore what a digital product is. 15 minutes is the honest middle: long enough to check everything, short enough that the product isn't consumed and returned.

How to request a refund

  1. 01Email [email protected] within 15 minutes of the purchase confirming, from the email address on the Germanium account that made the purchase.
  2. 02Name the kit (e.g. the Goethe A1 Exam Kit) and — if you have it handy — the transaction hash of your payment. The hash is not required; the account email is enough for us to find the purchase in the ledger.
  3. 03You get a confirmation reply when the refund is queued. That's the whole process — there is no form, no call, no retention script.

How the money comes back

Payments are made in USDT or USDC on the network you chose at purchase, so refunds return the same way: the same token, on the same network, to the wallet address the payment came from — that address is recorded in the payment itself, so there is nothing for you to re-enter and no way to send the refund anywhere else. Crypto transfers are irreversible by design, which is exactly why the request must land inside the 15-minute window; after that window the purchase is final. The refund is sent within 24 hours of the request — network confirmation time on top (seconds on most networks, about a minute on TRON).

What the refund ends

A refunded kit is locked again on the account it was bought from: the papers, solution books and cheat sheets return to the paywall, and the kit is removed from the account's purchases list. Your account itself is untouched — only the refunded kit closes. You are welcome to buy it again later at the then-current price.

What is not refundable

  • Requests after the 15-minute window. The window is the whole policy — it exists so it can be applied mechanically, without judgement calls.
  • A kit whose content was substantially consumed. If the grading console shows papers submitted well past the window, the window has plainly closed anyway — this line exists for completeness, not as a second gate.
  • Duplicate purchases by choice. If you bought the same kit twice on two accounts by accident, email us anyway — inside the window both are refundable; outside it we will still look at it, but as goodwill, not entitlement.

I paid 9 USDT but sent it on the wrong network. Is that a refund?

No — and it never reaches the purchase at all. A transfer on a different network than selected cannot be matched to your claim (the verification checks the exact network, wallet and amount). Email us with the transaction hash and the correct network, and if the funds are recoverable we will either credit the kit or return the transfer minus network costs. This is why the pay page warns to send on the selected network.

Do I need to give a reason for the refund?

No. Inside the 15-minute window the refund is unconditional — you do not have to explain, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. If you volunteer a reason, it is read and used to improve the kit; that is the only role it plays.

The kit didn't unlock after payment — is that a refund case?

No — that is a support case, and it is fixed, not refunded: the unlock is automatic once the on-chain check passes, so a failed unlock means the TXID check failed (wrong network, amount under 9, or unconfirmed transfer). Email the transaction hash and the kit opens as soon as the transfer verifies. If the transfer genuinely cannot verify, the money was never applied to a purchase, and we return it to the sending address.
