Module 1: ÖSD B1 Schreiben — 3 Tasks in 60 Minutes (40 + 40 + 20 = 100 Points)
Unlike telc B1, which tests a single letter, the ÖSD B1 Writing module tests three distinct text registers in 60 minutes. Examiners grade each text across four criteria: Erfüllung (task fulfillment), Kohärenz (connectors and flow), Wortschatz (vocabulary range), and Strukturen (grammar accuracy).

Module 2: ÖSD B1 Sprechen — 15 Minutes Prep + 3 Graded Parts (100 Points)
Before entering the oral exam room, you get 15 minutes of solo preparation with the task sheets and may take handwritten bullet notes into the exam (speaking from notes is rewarded; reading out full scripted sentences is penalized).
